Mold Testing

Mold is part of the world we live in. Spores naturally occur outdoors and make their way into every home through the air, on clothing, and on everyday belongings. Finding some mold spores indoors is expected; the concern is when moisture allows mold to grow where it shouldn't.

Here in Georgia, humidity is a familiar challenge. Combine excess moisture with wood, drywall paper, and other organic building materials, and conditions can become favorable for mold growth. Leaks, damp crawl spaces, and lingering moisture deserve attention, even in a home that otherwise looks well maintained.

When testing is appropriate, we collect air samples and partner with one of the country's leading environmental testing firms for laboratory analysis. Specialists use microscopy to identify and count fungal spores in the samples. We help you understand those findings in the context of the home's conditions. Air sampling provides a snapshot—not a guarantee that every area of the home is free of mold—and visible growth or a moisture problem may need attention without testing first.

We do not perform mold remediation, so we have no remediation job to sell you if a concern is found. Our goal is straightforward: give you useful, independent information that helps you care for your home and work toward a healthier, happier place to live.

Understand what's in your air—and what it means for your home.
